3K and Pre-K

Our 3K and Pre-K classes are funded by the NYC Public Schools and provide free, high-quality education for children who live in NYC. Your child is eligible for 3K the year they are turning 3 and for Pre-K the year they are turning 4. For the 2025-26 School Year, these are children born anytime in 2021 and 2022.

Offers 3K and Pre-K have been released. If you are still interested in joining our waitlist, please call the school as soon as possible.

Private Preschool (RMS only)

At Riverdale Montessori School, we also have a private preschool classroom that serves children from 2-5 years old. This program has no residency requirements and has open enrollment throughout the school year.

The children who are in this program are given priority seating when they apply to 3K or Pre-K.
